Show the whole route
Use the main collection and final delivery fields, then list additional stops in route notes. Include full postcodes, what is collected or delivered and any fixed order.
If the load changes along the route, explain which units travel between which points. This affects space, weight and the loading sequence.
Plan multi-stop freight enquiries around your Banbury access
For a Banbury retail delivery, identify who controls the service yard and obtain the goods entrance and receiving window directly. Castle Quay customer car parks are separately managed; they should not be assumed to provide a freight unloading route. Confirm that the load is packed, labelled and ready for release, with a named contact and any returns authorisation available.
For multi-stop freight enquiries, prepare every stop and postcode, goods per stop, required stop order. Describe the collection and receiving points separately so the quote can reflect the whole job, including any carrying or handling beyond the vehicle.
Account for time at each address
Add opening hours, site appointments and unloading arrangements for every stop. A convenient route still needs to fit the available access windows.
Ask for all stops and waiting arrangements to be included in the agreed quote. Extra addresses are not automatically included in a single collection-to-delivery price.
Your Banbury enquiry checklist
- For multi-stop freight enquiries, have these details ready: every stop and postcode; goods per stop; required stop order.
- Give both full postcodes and the entrance used for the job. Explain whether the Banbury address has private loading space or needs an agreed street position.
- Explain any unresolved permission, timing or handling question before accepting a quote.
- Check the quote’s supplier, price, inclusions and booking terms before confirming.
