Use the outside measurements
Measure length, width and height at the widest points, including the pallet, crate, wrapping and protrusions. Enter centimetres in the form. Measure each differently sized unit separately.
Weigh the complete packed unit and enter kilograms per unit. The form calculates quantity multiplied by unit weight for each line. If you do not know, choose “Measurements or weight to confirm” and explain what is missing.
Avoid relying on an estimate for booking
A seller’s product weight may exclude packaging, fluids or accessories. Ask for the packed weight or use suitable weighing equipment. Tell the team when a value is estimated.
Capacity and lifting limits depend on the actual goods and equipment. Confirm accurate measurements before transport is booked.
