Check the load with your supplier
Use a pallet and packaging suitable for the weight and contents. Ask your supplier to confirm the load is stable and properly restrained; damaged bases, loose goods and exposed fragile parts need attention.
Tell the team about any overhang, uneven load, high centre of gravity or need to keep the pallet upright. Do not mark freight stackable unless goods and packaging can safely support stacking.
Agree responsibility for preparation
Confirm who packs, wraps, labels and presents the goods. Collection does not automatically include pallet supply, repacking or dismantling.
Keep the collection reference available and ensure a contact can release the correct items. Provide freight details in the enquiry without uploading identity or payment documents.
